Pentastar Aviation FBO and Customer Service Representatives Recognized for Outstanding Service
Waterford, Mich., February 18, 2009 - Pentastar Aviation's FBO was recently named one of 30 2008 ExxonMobil PremierSpirit Gold Award winners. The Gold Award recognizes excellence in customer service.
"This year's score is the highest we have received in our 17 years of participation in the PremierSpirit program," said Bob Sarazin, Vice President of FBO Services. "This shows that our efforts to provide the best customer care in the industry never cease. We are always improving our standard of excellence."
In addition to the Gold Award, Pentastar Aviation's Customer Service Representatives (CSR's) Kathy Cortez and Angie Iafrate were recently honored with 2008 ExxonMobil PremierSpirit GEM Awards (Gold Employee Merit) for excellence in customer service. This is the second consecutive year that Cortez has received a GEM Award and 2008 marks the first year that two Pentastar CSRs have earned GEM Awards in the same year. Fifty-one CSRs from 45 FBOs were recognized with GEM Awards, with only five other FBOs receiving multiple GEM Awards.
"These awards reflect the high level of customer service that our customers have come to expect from Pentastar," said Krissy Ross, Customer Service Supervisor at Pentastar Aviation. "We take pride in consistently going above and beyond to meet our customers' every need."
The PremierSpririt Program, currently in its 19th year, was developed to encourage customer feedback and to promote the level of customer service at participating ExxonMobil Aviation- and Esso-branded FBOs. The program operates with the intent of increasing business by providing a 'gold standard' of customer service. FBOs compete in four categories: CSR Service, Line Service, Quality Assurance and PremierCare Certifications. About 200 FBOs participate in the program.
"Having two CSRs from the same FBO win GEM Awards speaks volumes to the high level of customer service that is part of the Pentastar culture," said Kristie Mayle, Senior Vice President of Business Development at Pentastar Aviation. "We are very proud of Kathy and Angie for being selected for this award out of such a large field of CSRs."
