AMERICAN AVIATION COMPLETES THIRD AVIDYNE/STEC INTEGRATED FLIGHT DECK RETROFIT IN BEECHCRAFT KING AIR 200 AIRCRAFT

Avidyne's Entegra Glass and the STEC 2100 Digital Autopilot provide safety, reliability and ease-of-use upgrade for King Air200 Series; American Aviation brings installation and integration expertise.

Lincoln, MA - December 3, 2008 - Avidyne Corporation and American Aviation of Brooksville, FL announced today the completion of American's third Alliant Integrated Flight Deck Retrofit in a Beechcraft King Air 200-Series twin-engine turboprop aircraft.

Alliant System Overview
The Alliant Integrated Flight Deck package includes dual-redundant Avidyne Entegra EXP5000 10.4" primary flight displays (PFDs) and an EX5000 multi-function display (MFD), the S-TEC IntelliFlight 2100 digital autopilot and Mid-Continent two-inch standby instruments. The system interfaces with most popular traffic, terrain, lightning, radar and radar altimeter systems. In addition, the Alliant package comes with Avidyne's exclusive CMax™ electronic charts and MultiLink™ support. CMax electronic charts display Jeppesen's approach charts and airport diagrams on the EX5000 MFD. MultiLink supports the display of Avidyne's MLB700 Satellite Broadcast Datalink Weather for datalink weather across most of North America, and the MLX770 Two-Way Datalink Transceiver for world-wide datalink weather and text messaging.

Alliant enhances aircraft value as the full retail value of the system can be added to the Aircraft Blue Book value. It is the ideal upgrade for modernizing the workhorse of air charter and business aviation operations.

Representing the culmination of 30-years of autopilot experience and expertise, S-TEC's new IntelliFlight™ 2100 Digital Flight Control System (DFCS) functions as an integral part of the Alliant Integrated Flight Deck.

The IntelliFlight 2100 offers all the capabilities pilots expect in a top-tier autopilot including GPS Roll Steering (GPSS), Heading Hold, NAV and Approach Modes, Indicated Air Speed (IAS) Hold , Altitude Preselect, Altitude Hold with Auto-Trim, Vertical Speed (VE), Course Intercept Capability, Control Wheel Steering (CWS) and Yaw Damper.
