Wayne Murphy is Head of General Aviation & Aerospace at Swiss Re

Wayne Murphy is head of general aviation & aerospace at Swiss Re and leads teams based in London, New York, Toronto, Singapore, Munich and in two locations in Australia.

Mr. Murphy, who joined Swiss Re in August 2002, is responsible for the development and profitability of general aviation portfolios and, in conjunction with actuaries, is charged with the development of pricing tools for airlines, general aviation and aerospace risks as well as conducting portfolio analysis and reporting.

Before joining Swiss Re,Mr. Murphy spent six years with AIG Europe where he was an assistant vice president in its aerospace division. In that role he was responsible for the AIG UK and worldwide branch aviation account.

Mr. Murphy also had spells with SUM / Equitas Syndicate 950, Brockbank Group Syndicate 861 and Octavian Group Syndicate 959.
