JetBrokers Europe appoint Patrick Schwegmann

JetBrokers Europe have appointed Patrick Schwegmann to head up their operations in Germany.

Schwegmann has considerable experience in the business aviation sector having most recently been working with RAS as Sales Director for Hondajet. After commencing his aviation career with Gulfstream in Russia,he has  worked for Tiger-Charter Private Jets in London where he was responsible for aircraft sales.

Fluent in English, Russian, and his native German, Patrick will be responsible for developing business in Germany, CIS and Russia but the primary focus will be his home market.

Schwegmann commented. “Being offered the chance to work with the JetBrokers Europe team, as well as the JetBrokers Inc  team in the US, is very exciting. They have made phenomenal progress over the past 2 years and are well placed to continue their growth as the market stabilises and hopefully starts to grow once again. I like their professionalism and focus on integrity, which I know will be an important factor in my core markets.”

Tim Barber, Managing Director of JetBrokers Europe, added. “Patrick brings some useful experience to the team and I am confident that over the coming months he will be able to make an impact in the German market, and hopefully beyond. I’m delighted to see that he has hit the ground running.”

Following on from the incredibly successful Aviation Supper Club in the UK, which was founded by Brendan Lodge the Business Development Director of JetBrokers Europe, Schwegmann is looking to emulate this success with a similar event in Germany and already has sufficient interest to get the event off the ground.

Brendan Lodge commenting on the initiative said. “The Aviation supper Club was born from a fairly humble start of just 30 industry professionals getting together for a networking meal. The most recent event had over 160 people along with a sizeable waiting list and was a phenomenal success. As the newly elected Chairman of CEPA, I have been asked to run a Supper Club event at the next CEPA Conference and I certainly hope that we’ll be able to emulate the success that we have seen in the UK. It would be great to see Patrick getting something similar off the ground in Germany.” He added. “The key to the success of the Aviation Supper Club is that it is not owned or sponsored by any single business or industry organisation and it’s important that it is seen in this way within any new market.”
