First HondaJet Elite with Gogo AVANCE L3 Wi-Fi Installed by Banyan

Fort Lauderdale, Fla – Banyan Air Service is pleased to announce the completion of an installation of a Gogo AVANCE™ L3 Wi-Fi system in a HondaJet Elite; the first install of its kind in the country.  This project was strictly a standalone avionics install and was quoted with respect to man hours at 15 business days.  This install provided inflight connectivity domestically for a startup charter business whose dream is to move into a fleet of HondaJets (10+).

Banyan Air Service Installs its First Gogo AVANCE L5 System

FORT LAUDERDALE - Banyan Air Service, based at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport, recently completed its first installation of a Gogo AVANCE L5 system on a Bombardier Challenger 300.  The project involved the removal of the interior, installation of the L5 system, re-installation of the interior and the final touch-up paint.  The project was completed in less than three weeks, without any discrepancies, and within the projected budget.

Banyan to Host Gogo Inflight Connectivity Solutions Seminar

Banyan’s 1st Aviation Career Day Deemed a Success

Fort Lauderdale, FLA. – Banyan Pilot Shop based at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport hosted an aviation career day on Saturday, December 9, 2017.  Despite the cold and rainy weather, 67 people showed up to network with the flight schools and colleges.  They also had the opportunity to speak with Arlisa Jernigan, Banyan’s Director of People Relations, about Banyan job opportunities.  “It was wonderful to see so many people that are passionate and determined about a career in aviation,” said Jernigan.  “We even had some middle school and high school students exploring aviation career opportunities.”
