328 Design GmbH and Turkish Technic Inc. Join Forces

328 Design GmbH (328Design) is pleased to announce that as of 13 January 2012 it has signed an Agreement with Turkish Technic Inc. (part of Turkish Airlines) to work together on design projects. The first project for this collaboration is a GIV interior conversion.
The skills and experience of 328 Design’s aircraft interior engineers will be utilized to certify the designs and materials selected by Turkish Technic engineering group through an STC issued by 328 Design’s sister company AMDS. The 328 group has a portfolio of over 200 STC’s (Supplementary TC’s) on aircraft types ranging from the Hawker 125 to Airbus A320, and helicopters such as the Agusta 109.
328 Design GmbH Managing Director Ralf Kohlen said, “This is an exciting time for our team and another important step to develop our business beside the Dornier 328.

• 328 Design has extensive experience in VIP conversions and has TC design responsibility for an aircraft type (Dornier 328);
• AMDS has STC certification for modifications on any aircraft type;
• Turkish Technic wants to develop its engineering skills and manufacturing capabilities through its EASA approved Design Organization.
